Hello, I’m Cyndie.
I am a French-Australian, Sydney-based food blogger, a passionate home cook and the Founder of Mademoiselle Slimalicious. Born in Paris from a Spanish father and a French mother, I grew up in the south of France. I moved to London after graduating from University. After working three years in England, visiting over 30 countries, falling for an Australian and teaching French in Japan for seven months, I finally relocated to Australia in late 2009. Besides blogging, I work full-time as a project manager.
Created in 2011, revamped in 2015, Mademoiselle Slimalicious is all about cooking simple, healthy and delicious home-made meals.
COOKING DOES NOT HAVE TO BE COMPLICATED TO BE DELICIOUS – SEE FOR YOURSELF!
In the media
Mademoiselle Slimalicious won the “Best Expat Blog in Australia” Award in December 2012. In January 2011, I was awarded the “2010 Young Expatriate of the Year” prize, awards co-organised by Racines Sud and the region Languedoc Roussillon in France. In December 2013 I also won the “2013 Expatriate Coup de Coeur” Award. I am regularly featured in various media in France and overseas to share about my unusual expatriation journey and about my experience of living in large cities around the world (Toulouse, Casablanca, London, Tokyo and Sydney).
