Tefal Fresh Express: Mini Food Processor - Review

I fell in love with TEFAL Fresh Express at first sight. Growing up in France, I've always been surrounded by Tefal kitchen appliances (which by the way are significantly cheaper in France, as they are produced there). Tefal for me has always been synonymous of high quality and ingenious products that make life simpler and more rewarding.

This bright (literally)  little kitchen appliance  makes it easier than ever to slice and grate fruit, vegetables, cheese and nuts so you can whip up a satisfying salad or a nutritious warm meal in a matter of minutes. It offers a fast and creative way to getting your recommended servings of fruit and veg each day.

How does it work?

Simply select one of the five different dishwasher safe cone attachments, pop your ingredients into the spout and the flawless shavings/slices will shoot out, ready to be used in a salad or ready to cook.

What can it do for you?

- Thick slicing * – cucumbers, carrots, potatoes
- Thin slicing – beetroot, apples
- Coarse grating – cheese, zucchini
- Fine grating – nutmeg, breadcrumbs
- Grating – Parmesan cheese

* From my experience using the product, I noticed the slicing function doesn't work very well with softer type of veggies (ie: onions, aubergines)

I've been using Tefal Fresh Express processor for the past couple of weeks, especially for:

- Slicing courgettes (for ratatouille), garlic, carrots and potatoes (for lentil casserole)
- Grating carrots and cheese
- Grating dark chocolate (for tiramisu)
