I had my second Ultrasound Fat Cavitation
(also called Non-invasive ultrasonic fat removal - NUFR) session yesterday.
(also called Non-invasive ultrasonic fat removal - NUFR) session yesterday.
(Read my post about my first session)
To be fair, I haven't seen much of a difference as yet.
Before and after my first session, I was very careful with my diet and doing Hypoxi at the same time, hence I indeed lost a few centimetres.
However it's really hard to tell if Ultrasound Fat Cavitation has contributed at all.
The area I chose is my inner thighs. It is the part of my body I like least: it is flabby!
One or two days after the first session, I thought I could see a reduction in fat in that area, but maybe it was just my eyes playing funny...it's really hard to tell.
This is what the machine looks like. You can actually hear the ultrasounds when it is on !
I guess my experience is also a rather disappointing because the salon owner is far from being friendly (I can't understand how and why rude people run a business...but anyway), and I have to say for Australian standards the hygiene is a little dodgy. I wonder if I should give the name of the salon actually...it is located right in Sydney CBD, close to Town Hall.
I have a third session coming up in January 2012 (I purchased a 3 sessions Scoopon deal). I'll go to not waste (just in case it does work!) but will not purchase any additional sessions after that one.
My opinion so far: I don't think it is the best fat removal technique on the market (Hypoxi is way better), and the fact that the practice is actually prohibited in France doesn't re-assure me at all.

Hi Liz, thank you for your comment. According to my research, lipocavitation procedure is banned in France (since April 2011) - décret n° 2011-382. You can look up at the law text if you google the decret number. I know lipocavitation packages are still sold in France however, which indeed doesn't make sense (maybe the provider use a different terminology to pass through the law, I'm not sure). If you found out an explanation to this, please let me know!
