Housework as workout: burn calories by keeping your house tidy!

It's rainy outside and you're not in the mood to exercise...  

Don't panic, keeping your house tidy counts!
    
Housework is a great way to burn calories. Here’s a breakdown of approximately how many calories you'll burn per cleaning activity per half-hour. But as is the case with any workout, the more effort you put in, the greater the benefit.

 My tip: stick on your favourite music and turn up the volume,
it will help you polish and sweep that bit harder.

    Have been using housework as a form of exercise since I broke a toe at the gym 6 weeks ago and have been unable work out. My house and garden have never looked better. Je vous remercie.
